This event is for anyone who wants to practice tying or being tied in a safer setting.
What does a Queer Peer Rope look like?
The idea behind a peer rope is that everyone can experiment and practice with rope at their own level, and learn from each other. This can be done alone, with a regular (tying) partner, or with someone you meet on the peer rope. All forms of bondage are encouraged, from tying yourself to practicing on your partner, following a tutorial in a book or video (or an explanation from a fellow attendee, of course), from groundwork to suspensions.
We'll start the evening at 7 PM with a stretching class to warm up and get comfortable. If this isn't your thing, you're welcome to skip it, of course. Afterward, the peer rope class begins, and if you're interested, there's a short workshop for beginners covering the basics of safety and some knots you can then try on your own. Some events also offer an advanced workshop.
The location has an upper and lower level with a gymnasium, about fifteen minutes by public transport from Rotterdam Central Station. The lower level is wheelchair accessible.
