Every second Saturday of the month, people from the LHBTIQ+ community come to read aloud. They read from inclusive books in the youth department. And there will be crafting too!

Rainbow Stories gives children the chance to meet queer adults who talk about themselves with joy and pride. Everyone interested is welcome during this reading session. Children can listen to stories from inclusive books and from readers on themes like bullying, solidarity, individuality, and body positivity. And no one has to feel uncomfortable because of their clothing choice, pronouns, hairstyle, or favorite color!

Queer families can listen to stories in which they recognize themselves during this reading session. In this way, we offer children and their families a safe place to come together and share experiences.
