Lesbival opens a portal at WORM into Queer Futures: a multidisciplinary sci-fi program in which queer creators, thinkers, and performers construct alternative realities. Like the queer community, sci-fi transcends existing systems and poses questions about gender, identity, and power.
Sci-fi allows us to bridge the gap between our powerful queer history and the hopeful, radical possibilities of our queer futures. As our queer future and our present are increasingly under pressure, coming together is more important than ever: to hold each other, to create, to imagine, and to collectively build the future we want.
🔸 Day+night+dinner ticket €37,50

DJs, performances, exhibitions, live acts, rituals, and spacey queer joy – welcoming a future we dance into together.
We want to make this event accessible for everyone. That’s why we have a (limited) number of free tickets for people with a tighter budget. Click here to apply.
We collaborate with a powerful group of (primarily Rotterdam-based) collectives to shape this future: Queer Gym, Queer Cinema, Queer Salsa, The Hangout010, Telemagic, Genderclowns, and Fossielvrij, amongst others.
This event is a celebration of queer joy, community, and freedom. We are committed to creating a space where everyone feels safe(r), respected, and welcome, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, race, ethnicity, disability, body size, age, or background.
No inappropriate or unwanted physical contact or sexual attention. CONSENT IS SEXY. We understand that things can get heated at an event full of hot queers, but if you make a move, make sure everyone involved consents. Only a clear yes means yes!
Respect each other. Acknowledge that queer identities are diverse and intersectional. Understand that your experiences may differ from those of other queers and that your perspective is shaped by your own specific experiences. Do not question someone’s experience, declared self-identity, or chosen labels, even if they conflict with your own beliefs.
We do not tolerate any form of racism, anti-Blackness, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, xenophobia, sexism, ableism, fat-shaming, or other forms of discrimination and intolerance, harassment, bullying or intimidation. Be mindful of your language; do not make discriminatory jokes or comments at the expense of others. Violations may result in removal from the event.
Respect people’s pronouns and identities. Do not assume someone’s gender identity; ask which pronouns they use, respect them, and do your best to use them correctly. We understand that mistakes can happen. If you are corrected on pronoun usage, it doesn’t have to be a big deal; simply say thank you and continue the conversation using the correct pronouns.
Lose yourself a bit - but not completely! Open drug use = removal. Take care of yourself and your friends please!
For the event, we will use all the spaces at WORM. Almost all of them are wheelchair accessible, except for the S/ash Gallery, which can only be reached by a staircase leading down. An elevator provides access to the other floors, and a MIVA (accessible) toilet is available. At night there will be a quieter space in S/ash Gallery to relax away from the DJ’s.
Please only use your phone to find each other – we will put a sticker on your cameras to avoid unconsensual exposure. Go to the photographer for the best memory
If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior:
- Contact a Queer Futures Safety Team member (clearly identifiable)
- Ask any staff member of WORM for support
We build this space together. Treat others with kindness, look out for one another, and help make this night joyful, affirming, and safe for everyone.
