Woordenvol is a versatile day full of broad literary influences, encounters, and exchange. Woordenvol offers a unique opportunity to step outside your own linguistic bubble, discover new voices, and experience the richness of language in all its forms!

With a book swap, a poetry debate, an open mic, readings, live music, a DJ, and delicious food, Woordenvol offers a full-day program where different languages, stories, and forms of expression come together. This creates a vibrant meeting place where creators and the audience inspire each other, and where language is celebrated in all its diversity.

During Woordenvol, bookstore De Vries van Stockum will be present with a book market.

Woordenvol is a collaboration between The Hague organizations FFûH, Ik Spreek, 't Zwarte Schaap, and Writers Unlimited, and is made possible by the Zuiderparktheater.

Open Mic Sign-up

This is your chance to sign up for the open mic during the first Woordenvol festival at the Zuiderparktheater in The Hague. Do you want to recite a poem? Do you perform Spoken Word? Want to rap? Or do you sing? Then the stage is for you! You can sign up for our open mic via this form.

The Organizers

FFÛH

A collective and literary platform for young writers from The Hague. FFÛH has a great desire for a broader stage for the undiscovered writing talent hiding in The Hague. It has developed into a platform for poetry evenings, open mics, and collective writing sessions.

Ik Spreek

Aims to provide a stage for word artists in The Hague and its surroundings. There are many speakers who do not get the chance to share their story. There are speakers who do not feel heard. Ik Spreek wants to offer them a stage, focusing mainly on poetry, spoken word, rap, and singing.

Het Zwarte Schaap

A platform for spoken word and spoken literature based in The Hague. A young stage that wants to be a safe and intimate meeting place within the current environment of word art for everyone who identifies with our name. Always looking for ways to present writers and their stories in a multimedia way.

Writers Unlimited

Brings writers and journalists, thinkers and poets, spoken word artists and musicians and their audience together in the annual Writers Unlimited International Literature Festival and in monthly programs throughout the year. During these meetings, they exchange their literary work, their experiences, dreams, and ideas with each other and with the public, across the boundaries of cultures and languages.
