About the Exhibition
This exhibition showcases a collection of paintings that explore the desire for a safe place. In a world that often feels overwhelming, especially for those who do not fit the "Just act normal, that's crazy enough" mold, this collection offers a sanctuary. Some works are deliberately painted with unnatural colors, creating a fantasy world where criticism has no place.
The artist, Suzanne (@Mindspace.paints), is a 39-year-old autistic, queer artist from The Hague. She draws inspiration from the night, mountains, and trees as symbols of safety, protection, and strength.
The exhibition will be on display until mid-December in the COC Café.
