International Transgender Day of Remembrance
On November 20, we globally observe the International Transgender Day of Remembrance. On this day, we commemorate transgender individuals who have been victims of violence and hatred, and we draw attention to the risks and challenges the transgender community still faces.
During this evening at the Central Library, three panelists from different generations will engage in a conversation with the moderator, each other, and the audience. What does remembrance mean to them? How has the position of transgender people changed over the years, and what is needed now? What can we learn from each other, and how do we ensure that stories are not forgotten?
