The Remonstrants celebrate the 15th Coming Out Sunday in the Geertekerk, a tradition since 2012. Linked to Coming Out Day (October 11), we celebrate love and who you are in all the colors of and under the rainbow.

'Love in everything' is paramount for Remonstrants. We have been blessing the relationships of people from the LGBTIQ+ community since 1986, making it 40 years this year. This also marks the 25th anniversary of civil marriage being open to gays and lesbians. A year with three anniversaries, including our 15th Coming Out Sunday.

Besides love and who you are, freedom in how or what you believe is self-evident for Remonstrants. 'Freedom in uncertainty,' because we won't tell you how to believe.

We also find inspiration in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible, but we won't beat you over the head with it.

On Coming Out Sunday, we celebrate love and who you are! For 15 years in Utrecht.

Since the beginning of the Utrecht Queer Culture Festival, Coming Out Sunday has been included in the program. Because UQCF is also all about love and who you are.
