This symposium focuses on 'Suicide Prevention in Trans and Gender-Diverse Youth' and will take place in the center of Utrecht. You can expect presentations from:

Prof. Baudewijntje Kreukels (Amsterdam UMC) on gender diversity and transgender identity and care.
Maryke Geerdink (113 Suicide Prevention) on suicidality among young people.
Dr. Minke Eilander (Postdoc researcher RUG) on suicide prevention for trans and gender-diverse youth.
Joep Lakeman (therapist 113) on gender-related minority stress.

There will also be a panel discussion with Dr. Laura Baams (Utrecht University) and Isabelle Barlag (Transvisie).

It promises to be an afternoon that provides new insights about a group of young people who deserve our attention.
