Help Us Pick a Charity to Spotlight

Some cool news: the Queer Meet Podcast has signed up to be part of Podcasthon 2026, and we'd love for you to get involved.

If you haven't heard of it, Podcasthon is a global event where podcasters from all over the world come together to support good causes. During one week in March, hundreds of independent shows release a special episode to highlight a charity or non-profit they care about.

It's less about raising money and more about raising awareness. The idea is simple but powerful: use the combined reach of all these podcasts to put a spotlight on organizations doing important work. Last year, over 1,500 podcasters took part in this initiative, which is organized by the Altruwe Foundation.

What We're Doing

During Podcasthon Week, which runs from March 14-20, 2026, we'll be releasing a special episode dedicated to an organization here in the Netherlands.

And this is where you come in. We don't want to make this decision on our own. We want you, our listeners, to tell us which charity or cause we should feature.

We're looking for suggestions for organizations based in the Netherlands. It could be a group that supports queer youth, elders, or refugees. Maybe it's an organization focused on health, preserving our culture, or fighting for our rights.

We're especially interested in hearing about groups doing fantastic but perhaps under-recognized work. If there's a cause that's close to your heart, we want to know about it.
