Community to Curate Official Pride Anthem List for WorldPride Kickoff

AMSTERDAM - Pidi Radio, an Amsterdam-based LGBTQ+ station, has opened public voting for its annual "Pride One Hundred" music chart. The final list will be revealed during a seven-hour live broadcast on Saturday, July 25, 2026, serving as a musical kickoff to the WorldPride festivities in the city.

The broadcast, scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, will feature the 100 most popular Pride songs as determined by public vote. The initiative aims to create a definitive soundtrack for the community, spanning decades of music from classic anthems to contemporary hits that have resonated with LGBTQ+ people.

How to Participate

Listeners have several ways to participate in shaping the final broadcast:

  • Vote: A comprehensive list of potential anthems is available on the Pidi Radio website, where users can vote for their favourites.
  • Suggest: If a personal favourite is missing from the list, individuals can submit it for inclusion via a dedicated form on the page.
  • Dedicate: The station is also inviting listeners to contribute personal stories or dedications related to a specific song. Selected voice messages will be played on air during the seven-hour show, adding a personal dimension to the event.

Part of a Global Celebration

The "Pride One Hundred" is positioned as one of the opening events for WorldPride Amsterdam 2026, a major international LGBTQ+ event that will draw visitors from around the globe. The broadcast provides a platform for the community to collectively celebrate the music that has defined its history, struggles, and triumphs.

Voting is now open on the Pidi Radio website. To cast your vote, suggest a song, or record a message, visit the official Pride One Hundred page.
