The happy couple Miguel and Mariela are about to have their first child however fisherman Miguel has been having an affair with the beautiful painter Santiago. When Santiago is drowned by the undertow after a boating accident, his spirit appears to Miguel to ask him to ensure he gets a worthy funeral.
