About Homohop

“Homohop” emerged in the 1970s as a powerful response to homophobia within the rap and hip-hop scene. Queer artists and fans used the term to claim their place in a culture that often excluded them—and to show that hip-hop could tell their stories, too.

Looking for a night centered on Dutch hip-hop—nostalgic, relatable, danceable—and created especially for the queer (POC) community? Then Homohop is the place for you.

About DIP (Tuesday/Thursday In Paradiso)

DIP (Tuesday/Thursday In Paradiso) is a free creative space at Paradiso where creators get the chance to try out new ideas and experiment, with the support of Paradiso's expertise. A place where organizations, collectives, artists, performers, makers, free spirits, and inventors can grow their talent and give their own spin to Paradiso's Tuesday evening or Thursday night.

On Thursday nights, the Basement opens its doors to nightlife: an underground place where new club concepts emerge, there is room for experimentation, and new sounds are heard until the late hours.
