David has been fixated on getting married his whole life. His boyfriend Quique, with whom he has been for 15 years, wants nothing to do with it. With the support of his best friend Ángeles and a mother who even keeps an eye on him via Grindr, he leaves Barcelona for the desert city.
What starts as a symbolic joke takes an unexpected turn when Esteban, a friend of Ángeles, joins him. Esteban makes David see himself in a different light—as someone who deserves to be truly seen and loved. As their bond deepens, David faces a difficult choice: stick with the familiar but stagnant relationship with Quique or embark on a new path with someone who makes him feel alive.
