Dorian Electra is a world-builder whose work fuses genre, performance, and spectacle into a singular vision. Their breakthrough album 'Flamboyant' introduced a maximalist universe rooted in satire, queer culture, and theatrical pop. The successor 'My Agenda' went even further with sharper political commentary and a harder sound design, merging pop with metal, electronic, baroque, and experimental influences.
Their third album 'Fanfare' expanded that world even further, intertwining pop, glam rock, orchestral, and electronic music. Throughout this journey, Dorian has collaborated with groundbreaking artists, including Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, 100 gecs, Village People, and Pussy Riot, while more recent work with Amnesia Scanner, Frost Children, and f5ve reflects a continuous period of exploration in singles and remixes.
During this period, they have experimented more freely with structure, texture, and tone, from high-gloss pop to club-driven and deconstructed approaches. Now, Dorian is entering a new phase with an ambitious cover project and a new album, in which they reinterpret iconic songs through their signature lens of theatricality, irony, and emotional intensity.
