It's going to be cunt*.

Because Theater Bellevue is being taken over by a horde of feminine forces. Read: Nina and her wolfpack.

In a world where female primal power is constantly undermined, Femilicious shouts: NOT UNDER OUR WATCH. For this edition, Nina de la Parra, along with co-host Phoebe Perry, once again gathers a hyper-diverse palette of guests who celebrate female primal power in a humorous way.

Featuring emerging talents from diverse genres: Davine de Jong, Emily Higgson, Emma van Puffelen, Funny Bergman, and of course, a new KONT by Damaris de Jong, this time by Adina Macpherson. Expect comedy, improvisation, burlesque, cabaret, clowning, punk comedy, and even more.

They are bi-cultural, queer, hilarious. They are FEMILICIOUS.

More about the makers

PHOEBE PERRY is a comedian and improviser from Chicago living in Amsterdam. She welcomes audiences with her warm personality and brings them into the absurd with physical comedy and characters from every day life. Before moving to the Netherlands in 2019, she was an improviser for iO Chicago and performed her solo show Dr. Fifi & Her Imaginary Friends. She is a regular comedian at Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam and the host of their late night experimental comedy show, ROTTDAMMIT. She also hosts the Mezrab Alternative Comedy Night.

Host: NINA DE LA PARRA is a theater maker, comedian with an activist edge, performer, writer, and singer-songwriter. She is bicultural and, with her eclectic background and influences (Dutch-Surinamese and British-German background, multilingual and fluid, from intellectual director's theater to performance art), contributes to the world of groundbreaking theater. Her performances are hard to categorize – but always acclaimed. She moves on the border of theater, comedy, cabaret, clowning, music, performance art, spoken word, and community-building. With her debut performance GODS WEGEN, she won the VSCD cabaret prize Neerlands Hoop, with BloodBitches she was in the Cabaret Collection of the NTF, and with NINA SPEELT she received rave reviews as well as the Choice of the Neighborhood Jury Maastricht.

She is writing the feminist coming-of-age book MAKE WOMEN COME with Publisher Pluim and columns for Vrij Nederland. She works on community building and is a gatekeeper for new female talent with her FEMILICIOUS, an ongoing evening she organizes in collaboration with De Kleine Komedie. She gives a speech at the Animal Demo, participates in feminist podcasts, and is setting up a new evening for experimental comedy at the Speakeasy, Bellevue. She can also often be found in international workshops in physical theatre, burlesque, musical improv theatre, drag & clown.

THE POSSE is a group of ongoing Femilicious Witches who perform short stunts, design, or acts at Femilicious. Think of a vulva chandelier and a pop-up shop by a humorous-activist design duo, on-the-spot created butt art by DE BILLEN VAN EMMA, stories from the erotic radio show MET ANTOINETTE NAAR BED, feminist poetry-stand up by ELLES REBELLES, comedy-storytelling by SANDHYA HEMAI, or clown-mime by KIRSTY BAKER.
