Are you a parent, caregiver, or chosen family of an LGBTQ+ youth in Rotterdam?
Sometimes you want to be there completely for your child, but you don't always know how. Maybe you're searching for words. Maybe you want to better understand what your child is going through. Maybe you notice that conversations have become tense, or that distance has grown.
You are not alone.
Proud Supporters is a warm and in-depth program for parents, caregivers, and chosen family who want to grow in acceptance, communication, and connection.
In a small, safe group, you will meet other parents and caregivers. You will gain knowledge, recognition, and practical tools to better support your child. We work with themes such as acceptance, shame, family patterns, boundaries, allyship, and restoring contact.
You will also receive the workbook Proud Supporters – Letters to… with reflection questions, letter-writing assignments, and conversation exercises that can help you start or deepen conversations at home.
You don't have to know everything already. You don't have to do it perfectly. You just need to be willing to listen, learn, and come closer.
The program consists of a kick-off workshop, three in-depth group meetings, and a follow-up afternoon.
There is space for a small group of parents/caregivers, ensuring enough room for trust, personal questions, and genuine connection.
Inclusion starts at home. And sometimes, change begins with one step: signing up.
