As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder, we often find ourselves spending more time indoors, socialising less, or struggling to find the motivation to get out and about. While it’s natural to slow down during the winter months, these changes can sometimes leave us feeling more isolated, anxious, or low.
How can we look after ourselves during winter, and what can help us navigate this season with a little more ease?
In this edition of the Anxiety Support Group, we’ll come together to reflect on how the winter months affect our mental health and explore ways to support ourselves through the darker days.
Through individual and small-group activities, we’ll share experiences, discover helpful strategies, and think about how to build routines that support our wellbeing. Katy, our facilitator, will also share ideas for winter activities, ways to stay connected, and useful support resources.
There’s no pressure to share anything you’re not comfortable with. This is a space to connect, reflect, and learn from one another at your own pace. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please remember to cancel your registration. This helps us plan our activities and make the best use of our resources.
