The 'Sleepover' We Deserved
Remember sleepovers? Staying up late, gossiping about crushes, watching silly movies, eating snacks and hanging out in pyjamas with your friends? We're bringing that energy back, but this time we're adults, we're queer, and we're doing it our way.
We'll get comfy in our pyjamas and spend the evening hanging out, making connections, gossiping about the queer scene in Rotterdam and generally enjoying each other's company.
Put on a face or foot mask, settle in and get chatting. We'll have an aroma diffuser and conversation prompt cards to get things started, but there's no script to follow. Think gossip, relationships, queer experiences, life updates, questionable crushes and everything you'd love to talk about with a queer friend. Deep conversations are welcome, silly conversations are equally encouraged.
A room full of pillows, blankets and mattresses, with a silly queer movie playing in the background (we're thinking D.E.B.S.). Curl up, watch the film, craft quietly or enjoy a little downtime. Cuddle puddles are welcome, as long as everyone involved is comfortable and enthusiastic!
Our main hangout area, stocked with tea, coffee, drinks and snacks. There'll be games to play, colouring books etc. for anyone who likes having something to do with their hands while socialising. And because every proper sleepover needs questionable food choices, we'll have some unhealthy snacks to keep us going.
Move between rooms, find your people, and make yourself at home.
Your favourite pyjamas/comfy clothes/oversized hoodie. Maybe a sleeping bag for extra comfort.
