But who is this Dorothy they are all friends with?

A satirical look at misunderstanding and exclusion throughout the centuries to the present day: the greater freedom, but also the increasing anti-gay violence and international backlash.

Michiel and Niek play famous couples, interspersed with their personal stories and search for 'the one'. Will they find him, give up the search, or continue together?

Friends of Dorothy connects history and current events, humor and seriousness, the personal and the universal.
