Pole dancing is an incredibly cool art form and sport that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It combines strength and sensuality, with an open and supportive community. But starting this sport can also feel intimidating. That is why a beginners workshop is being organized especially for LGBTQIA+ people, to explicitly create space and a safe environment where people can get to know this dance form.

The workshop is led by two queer/trans pole dancers with experience teaching workshops. During Pride The Hague, you can explore this dance form together with other LGBTQIA+ people in a safe and welcoming environment, and learn how to move smoothly around the pole.

Workshop Choices

Two workshops will take place at the same time in different rooms. You can choose between:

Tricks Workshop: Focuses more on strength and the athletic side of pole. Learn to climb the pole and even hang upside down!
Flow Workshop: Learn a sensual, sexy choreography and move smoothly around the pole.

Both workshops have space for 12 people.
