May I Be So Free? is a poignant and hopeful story about the search for your true self. This musical takes you on a personal and relatable journey exploring identity, faith, love, and freedom. It's for everyone who is still in or already out of the closet, and of course, for anyone connected to that experience in any way.

There she stands, torn by the opinions of others, by a distorted image of God, and by the choices that lie before her. Is there a right choice? Or is it not about choosing, but about discovering who she truly is? When everything threatens to go wrong, an unexpected encounter with Love itself occurs. It's not a choice between one or the other, but the discovery that she is allowed to be herself, loved for who she is.

This vibrant performance takes you on a journey. Compelling songs, touching moments, and funny, sharp dialogues alternate, moving you and making you laugh. "May I Be So Free?" makes you think, opens up conversation, and will not leave you untouched. An evening full of experience, recognition, and hope.
