WZP Queer Date Event

Upon arrival, you register at the welcome table where you can indicate your age category of interest. You will receive a sticker for your name and pronouns, as well as a WZP date card. On this card, you can write down the names of people you'd like to go on another date with after the event.

Depending on the number of participants, there will be different age categories. A minimum of two, a maximum of four. For example, 20 to 35 years (A), 30 to 45 years (B), and 40 years and older (C).

Everyone attending must adhere to the WZP code of conduct, which can be found at wijzijnpoly.nl/gedragscode. Consent is crucial, always be friendly, and respect it when someone says "no." Address it if you see boundary-crossing behavior, or report it to one of the WZP team members.

Most participants come alone, but we appreciate it if you promote this event among your friends. Feel free to bring neighbors, colleagues, acquaintances, friends, date(s), partner(s), or your metamour(s).

Program

The exact schedule for the afternoon depends on the number of attendees. Regular features of the WZP date events include:

A welcome speech
Explanation of the event
Several rounds of group conversations
Various 1-on-1 dates
One or more breaks
The Pitch-Your-Partner game
An optional group photo
An optional closing drink

During the 1-on-1 dates, you will be grouped within your age category. Be aware that you might meet people who don't perfectly match your wish list or preferences. In that case, just enjoy a pleasant conversation. And who knows, you might make new friends!

Want to join the Pitch-Your-Partner game? You can sign up on the spot with the host. During this game, participants can promote their (ex)date, FWB, relationship, partner, metamour, favorite person, or someone you just met in a short elevator pitch to the whole group.

This event is for individual dating, i.e., 1-on-1. If you are a couple looking for a third person, this event is not suitable.
