Got a Passion for Music and Community? Your Mic Awaits!

Ever dreamed of hosting your own radio show, curating playlists, and connecting with listeners across Amsterdam? Now’s your chance. Pidi Radio – Your Pride Radio, a fresh and growing station dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, is officially on the hunt for new volunteer presenters to join its team.

Broadcasting across Amsterdam and the surrounding area on DAB+ (channel 6C). With a core format of high-energy Electronic Dance Music (EDM) during the week and a diverse lineup of international DJs and hosts on the weekends, the station is building a unique and inclusive platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant project from the ground up.

What's the Opportunity?

Pidi Radio is looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to create and host their own radio programs. Whether you're a music aficionado, a talk show enthusiast, or have a unique concept you're dying to share, the station provides the platform. You'll have the creative freedom to develop your own show and connect directly with the community.

The best part? You can do it your way:

  • In-Studio Experience: Broadcast live from their professional, fully-equipped studio located in Amsterdam.
  • From Home Comfort: Prefer to host from your own space? Pidi Radio provides access to their professional studio software, allowing you to create a high-quality show from anywhere.

No Experience? No Problem!

If you're thinking, "But I've never been on the radio before!" – don't let that stop you. Pidi Radio is more interested in your passion and ideas than your resume. They provide all new presenters with a short training course and ongoing guidance to ensure you feel confident and prepared before you hit the airwaves. It's the perfect chance to learn new skills in broadcasting, audio production, and presentation.

If you've been looking for a creative outlet and a meaningful way to engage with the community, this could be the perfect role for you. Seize the opportunity to share your voice and become a part of Amsterdam's Pride soundscape.
