Every Sunday in March, you can learn more about the artworks in the Frans Hals Museum that are related to queer themes. How do artists—both in the past and today—show this in their work? And what does this reveal about the history of LGBTIQA+ people?
The guide will engage visitors in a conversation about the work of Chris Rijk, who combines traditionally hand-painted pottery with queer and pop culture. The art of Yamuna Forzani and Ferdinand Erfmann will also be discussed (from March 15th onwards).
The 'Story in the Hall' starts every hour and half-hour; please ask at the front desk which hall the story begins in.
This event is free to attend with a valid museum entrance ticket.
