✨ YAP Artist Community presents La Patrona del Ocho ✨

As part of Rotterdam Pride, this workshop asks: Who are we, and what do we carry with us from the generations before us?

Together with La Patrona del Ocho, we delve into roots, awareness, and decolonization. We explore how our ancestors live on in our rituals, spirituality, stories, and in the way we see ourselves and the world.

La Patrona del Ocho, aka Olympia Latupeirissa, is a Decolonization Specialist, poet, Spoken Word Performer, writer, and activist. Drawing from her Moluccan, Chinese, and Timorese roots and more than twenty years of experience, she guides us through an interactive workshop full of reflection, connection, and self-empowerment.

Her motto: “Decolonize with Honor.”

Expect an open space to share, listen, celebrate yourself, and reconnect with the power of your roots. 🌈✨

Awareness. Roots. Decolonization.
Come as you are. Bring your story. And make space for everything that lives within you.
